Who should not receive KYBELLA®?

Avoid KYBELLA® if you have an infection in the treated area.

Before undergoing KYBELLA® treatment, inform your healthcare provider about all medical conditions, including past or planned facial, neck, or chin surgeries; previous cosmetic procedures in those areas; medical issues in or near the neck region; swallowing difficulties; bleeding disorders; pregnancy or plans to conceive (potential effects on unborn baby unknown); breastfeeding or intentions to breastfeed (uncertain if KYBELLA® transfers into breast milk).

Disclose all medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements, to your healthcare provider, particularly if you're on anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication.

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Especially tell your healthcare provider if you take a medicine that prevents the clotting of your blood (antiplatelet or anticoagulant medicine).
